The Adelman Family Foundation was organized in 1999 to assist Meriden citizens interested in a nursing career. The Foundation was begun in honor of Georgia B. Adelman, R.N., B.S.N. on the occasion of Mrs. Adelman’s 50th birthday. Having a scholarship program for aspiring nurses had been a long time ambition of Mrs. Adelman and her family. This is the first time the Foundation has been able to award more than one scholarship.

The Foundation is a tax-exempt non- profit organization and is funded totally by the donations of private citizens. Anyone interested in making a donation to the Foundation may send it to the Adelman Family Foundation, Inc. PO Box 2420, Meriden, CT 06450.
